ORGANIZATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT
SRL is pleased to announce the appointment of Rick Mahmoud as Sr. Brand Manager - West Coast. He will join us on April 1, 2010, and will report directly to me.
A veteran of the footwear and leather industry, Rick brings extensive leather knowledge and brand experience to his new SRL position. He has worked in tanneries based in South America and the United States, and recently spent 4 years working for Nike in their Paccess Global Supply Chain Materials group. At Paccess, Rick worked closely with the Nike design & materials teams in Beaverton, and with their various factories in Asia.
With Rick's background in leather making, sourcing, and wholesale brand experience, SRL is pleased to welcome him as a new member to our sales team. Rick's responsibilities will include managing and directing the SRL sales effort on the West Coast. Specific account responsibilities include Nike, Columbia, Deckers Outdoor, Ariat, North Face, and Adidas/Taylor Made. In addition, he will become a member of the SRL product development team.
