Top 20 Tanners-Power List 2009
October 7, 2009: Shanghai, PRC: Leather International Magazine, the UK based industry trade publication, recently announced its 2009 Power List Top 20. According to the magazine, "The list is comprised of currently the most important and influential tanners on the planet." The magazine said that the list included majors players in the industry that have been leading the way with new technologies, fashion and design, environmental control and modern working techniques and practices.
Included in the power ranking are Richina's Bob Moore, President and CEO of Richina Industries, Inc. Shanghai Richina Leather Company, Ltd. (SRL) is a subsidiary of Richina Industries.
"It's nice to get this recognition, but in reality this is about SRL, and the technicians, leather makers and supporting staff that we have in our garment, automotive and footwear/accessories businesses," according to Bob Moore. "It's all about product, innovation, focus and execution. With the addition of Richina's new wet blue facility, coming on stream in 2010, SRL will be even better positioned to support our global branded customers," added Moore.
